That’s right 1.01 the first revision erazed almost all of my Posts (starbadger) but none of our first editor: Elisabeth Thrush. I had to do that because what is happening is so much better than I expected back in January. The Stories to be told are being lived. Her Husband is laid off when Mercedes give up on building cars in AMerica and she’s putting together a cleaning Co. I won’t be surprised becomes a national franchise. The next editor coming on board is going through a total life reset. He and his wife, university graduates and homeowners are wiped out, ten years into the perfect life they both lose their jobs and the house is foreclosed. They are buying an RV and there will be despatches from the road and Wal-Mart Parking Lot. This is going to the #1 reality site on the Net. Most of the editors are young and they have to fix the world as it is where they live. A few of us are so old we are surprised we have a pulse. Me for example. The only rule here is that there is no “we and they”. All six billion of us are in this together and everyone has a story. Most of humankind will be too busy to write. We are the lucky few. We have to get the simple story out and yes the Internet can be the critical difference - we are so close to “all together now”. Either this is the last century or the first century of humans waking up to what Buddha and Christ and My Uncle Joe used to say. Sorry to end on silly but the end of man is hardly the end of the earth. Species have been coming and going from the beginning of life on earth about a half billion years ago. Part of my putting Castlehom together in the first place was a reaction to that best selling book about “what if humans went away”. My money is that the animals that live under foot would be the next species to have a go and my money is on racoons. I like rats but too small and crows - I don’t think so. Hands matter. Bats are a long shot. Once the racoons figure out how to open jars of peanut butter, tin cans will be easy and then they’ve got all they need to be get to where we are now but in less time than it took us. That book has been written. Castlehom is no less than the site to wake up the sleepers. All together now.

… not to be, if it was stupid," said Mike. "Well, how about this afternoon?" "I’ll come and meet you at the old place, about half-past two." This was agreed to; and, full of anticipations about the examination of the farther cave, they parted, leaving Carnach junior apparently fast asleep upon the grey stone. Just as Vince reached home he came upon Daygo, who gave him a nod; and the lad flushed as he thought triumphantly of the discoveries they had made, in the face of the old fisherman’s superstitious warnings of terrible dangers.
"Morn’–or art’noon, young gen’leman," said Daygo, by way of salutation.
"Lookye here: I’m going out ’sart’noon to take up my pots and nets, and if you and young squire likes to come, I’ll take you for a sail." "Where will you take us?" said Vince eagerly. "Oh, round and about, and in and out among the rocks." "Will you sail right away round by the Black Scraw?" "No, I just won’t," growled the old man fiercely. "What do you want to go round about the Scraw for?" "To see what it’s like, and find some of the terrible currents and things you talked about, Joe." "Lookye here, my lad," growled the old fellow, "as I told you boys afore, I want to live as long as I can, and not come to no end, with the boat bottom uppards and me sucked down by things in the horrid whirlypools out there. If any one reading this could leave a comment explaining what it is about please do so.
This is so weird. Why are these three laughing. I bet they know what is going down, up or sideways.

I am on-board Richard. I will send you an email with my physical address immediately following this comment. Later today I’ll set up a free WordPress blog and see about finding a couple of free tutorials until the book arrives.

Get your free WordPress here.
Note to everyone: to get a free WordPress blog click above link.
How better to no cost achieve minimal literacy in WordPress? It is not difficult or rather it is like learning Microsoft Word and likewise unless you go at it you or rather the typical user uses 1-5% of what WordPress can do. I, starbadger, Richard Larratt, do not claim expertise in WordPress. Nor does John but as you can see Castlehom has been running six-months.
It’s a chicken and an egg. After the site has as few as a half dozen editors or animals up and running the site will begin to be the disinterested web source of how does WordPress works, second to none.
For anyone lurking and thinking about applying to be one of the sixteen I recommend you get the free copy of WordPress. Among other things it will tell you short of “community” what you need to master the basics. =======================================================
ArkhamVonWicker <twkwicker@gmail.com> Question:
Is my assumption correct in that each animal will have free reign as to how their particular neighborhood will look regarding colors, templates, etc? Or will they all share a basic template so they flow with the hub page?
Ans.
YES.
If 1.01 is about anything it is that every Editor has freedom to do as he or she feels best. The hub page of Castlehom (me) is fixed except for a few small thwacks. You are INTP which puts you at the extreme left (sic: first) of the sixteen sliding doors. At this point you could still elect to be a different type (if you’d rather we use a different animal for INTP I suppose we could do that but I do have a rat story I intend place in the (to be built) library at Castlehom Chronicles. It is the Story of which bits and pieces are already posted that has Raymond as a world’s oldest lab rat who was liberated from Harvard Psychology Lab and now lives in a field by a year-round Spring of fresh clean water on the hobby farm of a left-leaning economics professor from Harvard. That said you will find once you get into “rat” that it is just plain fun. If you don’t like rat – don’t agree to it – want to be a crow – tell me. Another editor wants to be a goat.
Until I set up this site I did not know so many people take their Myers-Briggs so so seriously. Myers Briggs Foundation It is widely assumed that Albert Einstein was an INTP. He probably was albeit I would be surprised if he gave it as much thought as a lot of people posting on the web out of Myers Briggs Interest Groups appear to – some post exclusive to INTP-only sites. So be careful. At the time I thought that there was a short list of smart animals and birds that live or co-evolve with man. In no particular order I’d mention rats, raccoons and crows. These last few months I have had a lot of Google Alert information on rats. In particular dumbo rats. There is no question that there are millions of people who have rats as pets and see that a dumbo rat is not a hamster but rather a wonderful pet blacklisted by his wild brother. Actually two – the black rat or ship rat is a different species than the brown rat or Norway rat. A lot of the eyes on INTP at castlehom will go away if Ray does.
As the first editor in one of the four categories you have more freedom than the next. Nothing to do with anything more complex than being first. Read up about the category – the rational. What you might notice is that the four sliding doors are shades of green but inside the main color is blue. That is wrong and for you to fix. It should be green inside. Use the outside door to give you an idea of the shade of green. You can read the four colors of Myers Briggs to understand of what I speak and the world out there assumes correct. You are the lucky one as you are first in the category.
========================================================
ArkhamVonWicker <twkwicker@gmail.com> Question.
What exactly would I be putting into the neighborhood for others to read? Will other INTP’s be submitting things and I edit them to place into the page?
Ans
You couldn’t do better than to really get your head into the theory of INTP then set up your google analytics to let you study the INTP activity on the Web. I’ll be more than willing to help you with that albeit I am still learning but I am I’d imagine six-months ahead of you as that is when I started the site. As you become comfortable with castlehom and discover that a free WordPress and Castlehom are not the same you will then have the knowledge to be able to invite in your friends but to Castlehom not facebook, my space, etc. where you may all remain friends and have sites. Castlehom works with never against these big sites. There is the irony that the more computer literate your friends are the quicker it will be a benefit to you that they be on your site. But don’t expect all your “members” to be INTP. The way google works if you start doing things INTP right then google will direct eyes to your site (remember some one can come straight in off the web to your site). It would help if you had an artist or at least someone who can cartoon rats. That and a mastery of INTP would work. such that your site might end up mostly INTP.
But you do it a day at a time. It’s not a pet rock. The google alerts will put you in touch with other INTPs. You get to know them. You talk to them. You tell your stories. Stories you’ve told me.
ArkhamVonWicker <twkwicker@gmail.com> Question.
What kind of content is to be expected of my running that neighborhood? Regular entries based off of life observations? My progression of writing from idea to finished product? Or is anything allowed?
Ans
Castlehom will never be an “ADULT” site albeit driven by adult wisdom and experience in the context of a love of story telling. There is a way to tell adult stories to children and someone should. You for example.
After say a month or so when you are past the basis learning curve and castlehom has its library it is very much you do what works. Think back if you may to the old IAM site and how it was carried by a handful of sites. Your site has to be one of those. As to what is allowed – it is already on the masthead. Parents, Children, Story telling, the reCAPTCHA if you will of the best of America, past, now and ever the future, the city on the hill. We are all things and all are welcome as per the usage of the 16 to cover the spectrum of being but if you insist we are somewhat libertarian. We are no Religion but can’t we all be Buddish. Well yes but no. We will over time be a lot like the Paris Review was. Never critical of the story teller. No critics here as there are none at the review or rather there were not twenty years ago when I read it –
ArkhamVonWicker <twkwicker@gmail.com> Question
My last question for now is regarding stories. I’m digging out one of my ideas I’ve been tossing around for awhile and am hoping to finish it and have it published one day. Did I read correctly in another post that that is a possibility here with what is going on with the drowning book?
Ans.
The drowning book could be a winner and if you can organize around that there is the next six months of all the time you can spend on the Web. Remember the drill. You sign on. Get up and running. Then you at the minimum talk to that girl who wrote a story. She’s active on facebook and if you can’t raise her I can. Actually there was a bunch of them did but it is for the moment a lost opportunity. But that is always the way.
Lets get going.
=======================================================
My apologies if the questions seem mundane. They are questions that I have and if posted publicly, others on the fence coming on-board may read the answers and take the plunge as well.

It will be just a few more days. We have built this multi-user blog on the multi-user Word Press not the old single user Word Press. The benefit is sixteen animals with whom you can blog versus one. Instead of one point of view www.castlehom.com opens with sixteen sentients correctly distributed across the Jungian Dreamscape via the Briggs-Myers Categories, beginning with Raymond Lothario, an INTP.
A Major Player in the social network games will be taking on the role of BrunoBrunhilda, death dealing rat snake as well as drawing and painting the sixteen creatures. Yes there will be T-Shirts with totally original Art. Five full-length 2nd edition books for Christmas. There are a number of Posts outlining a yearly routine in which books are written and shared and proofed as .pdf files arising out of the multi-blog dialogue. Lets make this site a lot more than “everything old is new again.”
If you kick yourself for not getting in at the ground floor of the last site delurk now. I’ve had hits as high as “22” mutuals with people who weren’t born when SDL was logging unto a BBS in Toronto from Picton and 1200 baud was the speed of a blazingly fast U.S. Robotics modem. There are legals to be posted, paper work, but now is the time to uncloak and let us see your warbird or your story. In a week or so we’ll have the upload to the site automagic but if you have a story – email it to me as an attachment. richard@castlehom.com
We need a couple experts in social networking, I mean people who really scope facebook and twitter. Read the Web20 post. Enough for now. And don’t be shy. There is a lot of room to do things on this new site we could not consider 15 years ago and far from facebook and twitter being a competitor they can be the wind in our sails. We need people who understand the new ways the new folks, i called one a newbee in error the other day, that’s a whole new set of opportunities. Help us now when we’re just restarting. Please.

How does that lament go, if I only knew then, what I know now.
I might have developed the website off-the-net then opened it in a few weeks from now which is about when this website will be as intended. It is my intent to develop other “for profit” websites and to the extent that “I” am a “we” I cannot expect the others in the Project to give me too much more time with castlehom & it’s mixed agenda of do right do good.
All too many kids are a lifetime denied becoming the adults they are predisposed to be by the conforming pressures of parents and teachers. I note http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montessori remains a 1% solution in the face of overwhelming evidence that there are better ways to teach than is the rule in all-too-many of the seats in other classrooms.
I hesitated to mention Montessori because each human each person each child is a special case and I have no interest in Montessori (in anything) as a dogma. Shannon has his daughter in a Montessori school in Toronto. Shannon (and for that matter his brother and sister) came to the conclusion to become themselves in the ideal fashion which is with some adults saying one thing and others saying another. I half remember a very old Woody Allen movie mocking Montessori with the little girls pretending to be frogs and laying their eggs in the pond, then it is the boys’ turn, well that was Woody’s take, more funny than critical.
Something which may be an issue with this site is the 16 blogs and the sliding pictures to find the right animal which in turn is a personality type. I did that to stretch the population of animals across the spectrum of human types. I did that to ground the types in a published scholarship. A problem I encountered is that there is no consistent agreement in that scholarship on how to color code the four temperaments. From an ease of use standpoint no matter what color they are the rationals are a group and should be on the Menu together, INTP, INTJ, ENTP, ENTJ
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keirsey_Temperament_Sorter
High-Level Description of the Sixteen Personality Types
http://www.personalitypage.com/high-level.html
ENFJ: “Teacher” = BEAVER (`5% IN HUMAN POPULATION)
Family life is crucial, can dam up and block the flow. Busy beaver.
ENTJ: “Field Marshal” = WOLF (pack animal)
The top wolf must be obeyed or defeated in battle.
ENFJ/ENTJ: FOX
Smart is not enough, guile is essential to survive.
ENFP: “Journalist” = FERRET/WEASEL 3%
Enthusiastic hunter, ferret/weasel out of information.
ENTP: “Inventor” = the SNAKE 2% (Visionaries)
Their minds are an Alien system as if they cannot hear our words, only feel the vibrations and sense our body heat in the dark.
ESFJ: “Seller” = HORSE 13%
Wild horses are terrifying, but they can be tamed and ridden.
ESTJ: “Administrator” = BULL 13% Enforcing [Guardians]
The Ox pulls the plough on behalf of the bosses. The herd can stampede and crush other animals.
ESFP: “Entertainer” = BUTTERFLY 13% (Performer)
Males are often more colorful than the female.
ESTP: “Promoter” = LION or TIGER 13% Persuading [Doers]
Ferocious predator, but not malicious. Ruthlessness cause the same damage as malicious (WOLVERINE).

Richard Larratt "iStarBadger"
I’m a guy but I can recognize genius even when the genius is so centred on being woman - man’s nigger by biology - here a female view of the world so intensely true - I can almost see it feel it. Leeson is a beacon and a hope. May the torch she takes from Ada be handed forward to many but beginning with one very special Ashleigh.
In the new Castlehom we don’t talk about it unless we have been there.

Is where I am but not who I am. I mean me: the cat. A chip in me says I am from Calgary. I have never been there but learning on the go go I am grateful the chip was there.
If a people turns you in and you have a chip then you are something better to a people than a cat. You are property.
I am just getting my story caught up to my reality as frankly it has all been a bit confusing. I don’t think the old lady likes me. My owner.
1./ Why did she buy me 2./ How did I come to be in Ottawa and 3./ Why did she throw me out the car window? There is a back story I will never know that just happens to be god’s only truth. I know some parts – the part where I am thrown out the car window.
Life in Calgary was all good but I don’t remember. Samantha and John got me last Summer and “It was all good.” What I didn’t know (and still don’t) is (was) that they had bought me for their retired parents in Ottawa. Samantha in particular did a good job of training me way beyond “paper trained” but maybe loving me too much Sam let me keep my balls and be a Tom. There were toys and stuff for me to play with. I guess I do remember some of the good parts of Calgary.
Sam’s idea was that a cat would be good for her mum. Keep Mum Company. Everyone knows that (in general) but they should have got the old crone a gold fish. I lasted seven months and out the window. I’m going to be okay but I know now that not every one is like Samantha. The first home I tried to enter dumped me off at the Lost and Found within hours. That was a few days ago. This writer (sic: writing this) knows the woman who turned me in. Once the pound found the chip I was no longer a cat. I was property. Adding to the story – Ottawa has hired two people full time to run around Ottawa to all the pet stores and make sure that all the cats have dry paper to piss on. The way it works in Ottawa is that no one knows what to do in particular but no need as they have people whose full time job enforces the correct rules of behavior – except that everything is allowed – bed wetting, homosexuality, autism and attention disorder. You can hear it for yourself on the radio on the Internet: CBC Radio 1. TV isn’t nearly as important for crowd control here as in the usa and it hardly matters in a town like Ottawa as every year the people get older – I can’t decide if that is good or bad and I don’t care as in my brief time in lock up – they call it shelter and protective custody – but I learnt from a chipless Tom there are dairy farms and that a cat is welcome there if he or she can hunt rats. I can do that. I never have but I can learn.
That Lady (the writer) wrote something to the effect that she dumped me off at the Lost and Found because she didn’t want me to break her heart. Go figure.
Next time they’ll never find my real owners - John and Samantha . I wish they’d kept me but they didn’t so here I am in fat city on the Rideau and there is a gold fish bowl. So much to do so little time. That fish is mine and on my “to do” list before it’s off to the country.
I’ll close on a story from earlier days - when there was room at the Ark – the Northern Ark - and everyone wanted a good cat to do rats.
The story follows …
One of the drive wheels had buried itself deep into the ice and acted like an anchor. The other wheels were embedded (not so deep) in the ice such that the Northern Ark was held in place as if in a vise. "Guess we’ll have to give it up," exclaimed Capt. Noah after an hour’s hard work, during which time the Ark had not moved an inch. "We’d better make up our minds to winter here until the iceberg floats into a warmer climate and either melts or breaks apart." Where is global warming when you need it!
"That’s cheerful," said Mrs. Jonah. "I’ve nothing but summer flannels."
"What about some of the poor animals who are used to the Torrid Zone?" replied Capt. Noah, shouldering the crowbar and climbing up the rope ladder to the deck. Mrs. Jonah did not reply, but turned up her coat collar and stamped upon his feet to warm them.
"The hairless Mexican dog will surely die if we don’t do something for him," said Ham the talking Pig, Red Pork. "I think I’ll ask mother if she won’t let him stay in the kitchen."
Mrs. Noah did not seem very pleased over the suggestion. "Gracious me!" she said. "Shambo already has two parrots, a marmoset and a little green snake in the kitchen. I don’t suppose one more animal would make much difference, if it will only keep from under my feet. I nearly stepped on one of the snakes this morning, and the kitchen is none too large, anyway.”

Medicare in British Columbia 1974
“
There is a Richard Larratt (sic: B.C. Mansard 1974 in here). I understand that he was an electronics engineer, from Manitoba I am told, who has been hired by this government, also at $33,000, to amalgamate the MSA, the CUC and the B.C. Medical Plan, at least the computer sections of it, if my information is correct. But where is he now? Is he still employed and if so at how much money, and what has he been doing?
What’s happened to some of the people? Where’s Dr. Ransford? Dr. Ransford is the person who has been kept on working because he’s developed a far more detailed report of the ambulance service. Dr. Ransford, as far as I’m concerned, has served well.
Richard Larratt, on the other hand, has been implementing as well, because we moved into the integration process of the Medicare plans, that’s CUC, MSA, and our own commission. So, Richard Larratt has been kept busy in that area.”

One more post to make but they are related. A friend or more have ask me to to be careful in my story telling. In turn they tell me that I should not make myself so well known. It may be good advice but it is too late now. How do I explain without leaving a smell that “they” can find “you” .
Here’s is why I don’t bother. With nothing more than Google Maps FREE there is a pix from space – it is a few months old but there is my Morgan and the other boats. Just imagine what a paying client can see. My two cats Mason and Dixie and whether I have pork chops or short ribs on the barbecue.

I am not going to single out Google and my fatal error as it is a recurring issue – anyone know how to uninstall WinDVD8? I am only half serious – I know how – but why do they do that – make it easy to get in and hard to get out. Just asking the question the ans is apparent.

we’re all awaiting and a wishing for you Raymond!
It is better this way – we all start at the beginning and we build
the new Castlehom together. We are the founders. But never forget
Shannon – I can’t say the day – but that day will arrive.
