In seconds, Yorkville road rage escalated into death and disgrace
ONTARIO - Following his release from police custody yesterday, an unshaven, tired-looking Michael Bryant made the following statement to media:
"I’m making a statement today on last night’s tragic events. At an appropriate moment, I will of course speak to you. I would however like to extend my deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Sheppard. To all those who have offered support to my family over the past 12 hours, thank you. I ask that the media continue to respect my family’s need for distance and privacy for the next few days. “

Less than an hour before his path would fatally cross that of former Ontario attorney general Michael Bryant, Darcy Allan Sheppard was sitting in the back of a police cruiser.
“Friend Bernie Finkelstein, founder of True North Records, pointed out that Bryant had purchased a sleek black Saab convertible. "He’s just jealous because I got it for $5,000 and he’s waiting for it to fall apart," said Bryant.”

Why am I posting this stuff. I didn’t know them. But my heart is with all of them. Including the dead biker and his family. The brotherhood of bike couriers. I ride a bike down here In Tarpon Springs. I lived in Victoria B.C. and I had the pleasure of the charmed life longer than Michael. Then I got Cancer and did not die. My first wife was a Metis, my second a cbc talking head whom the camera still loves. But enough about me. It’s Michael’s turn.

begs the question – are million$ going to be spent spinning or will Bryant do the right thing – and having done so – leave Toronto the Good and go farming or something very different – a new life – home school and sailing.

On the video it looks like the SOB backed up to run over the cyclist AGAIN.
Like you say, he should take up subsistence farming.
Of course, as the economic collapse continues, we shall see fewer cars on the streets … but the powers that be are probably too stupid to implement dedicated bike lanes with barriers.

Well it seems to me that you are one to say.
If I were to begin with what I love and hate about other people’s blogs it is the
extent to which it is a lot of opinion about a fairly short list of items which are
still pretty much determined by a short list of players. But everyone has an opinion.
Now I don’t have a problem with that - but I have to recognize the opinion as uderivative - and on the web opinion can be more than seven removes from the data.
Anyway. It has been an opportunity to realize where Castlehom should go. I should have seen it from your Post and I am going to speak to that now but it was Surinder that made the penny drop. She wrote about her issues and how for her the ans was flowers and in a year a shop a business and so on.
I mean your problem and short of blowing your brains out - it is your problem and if you solve it good for you and good for a few who can apply your solution to their case. I could tell you how special you are and of course you are but there is a reality to your life that makes it worth while to blog about and that is where or how I am seeing the site coming together albeit it is going to take years unless something explodes and no sight of that so far. I mean the three of you that are going bump bump down the stairs are each interesting and sixteen will make a great site if we really cover the jungian spectrum and if each of you writes most of the time one or two removes from what you are writing about.
Perfect example is Pigs of which you know a lot and in general the 1st world readers know zip. Lots of people know that dogs have masters and cats have staff but how many people know the degree to which to a pig we (man) are just another pig.
I mean your insights are so correct. Men are not eagles or lions. For the most they are pigs. They lack the fideality of dogs and the beauty of cats. They’re given to fat and all the stuff you write about. The point is you can write about what you know with authority. That’s going to be the rule. I’d going to give this site a bit more attention this month but mainly this month is sailing practice, day sails, etc. for taking off - but do the shake down here as here I can fix things for a nickel whereas a failure just a hundred miles out can be thousands.
